Professor Ojima Serves as Senior Editor of New Journal

Distinguished Professor Iwao Ojima has recently been designated as Senior Editor of an exciting new journal.  Future Medicinal Chemistry made its debut with the April 2009, Vol. 1, No. 1, for which Ojima authored the editorial “Welcome to Future Medicinal Chemistry”. Subsequently he wrote another editorial “Medicinal chemistry at a crossroads: challenges and new possibilities” for the June 2009 issue.

Future Medicinal Chemistry delivers expert commentary and analysis on emerging research toward the establishment of new medicines - from the identification of targets, through to the synthesis and evaluation of putative therapeutic entities.  Future Medicinal Chemistry is published on a monthly basis.
