chemistry and any application of organic chemistry to
pharmacology.
RESEARCH PROJECTS
- Isolation and identification of biologically active
compouds from Onopordon acanthium, O. carducorum and
O.illyricum;.affinity binding of the two major compounds
isolated, two Germacronolides, called Onopordopycrin and
Arctiopycrin, known as antitumoral agents, to some of the
most important neurotransmitter receptors (University of
Torino).
