Selected Accomplishments

Development  of a methodology for the synthesis of a- and b-aminoacylsilanes, based on a nucleophilic sylilation reaction using a polymetallic reagent. Transformation of these compounds in biologically active products as poliaminossidrilated compounds, statines and iso-statines analogous, b- and g-aminoalcohols.

Synthesis of chiral ligands for asymmetric catalysis, starting from natural a-aminoacids.

Development of a new methodology for the preparation of aromatic and heteroaromatic polyfunctionalized Grignard reagents, via a halogen-Mg exchange.

Instruction and supervision of undergraduate students in theory and practice of Organic Chemistry.

Supervisor of four Laurea students.
