September 1997-2001. Ecole Superieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon, France. Graduated at  "Ingénieur Chimiste" level (Equivalent to M.S  in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering). 

 

Research Interests:

Rational drug design utilizing computer assisted molecular modeling.

 

Synthesis of potential antitumour agents.

Research Experience:

June 2000-present. Graduate Research Assistant, State University of New York at Stony Brook (Prof.  Iwao Ojima). Design and synthesis of antimitotic agents, based on the taxol-epothilone common pharmacophore.

 

June 1999-August 1999. Research Intern, Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles, CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France (Prof. Christian Marazano). Synthesis of aminopentadienal derivatives for the biogenetic approach of manzamine alkaloids.

 

April 1999-June 1999. Research Intern, Laboratoire de Chimie Organométallique de Surface, CNRS, Lyon, France (Prof. Jean-Marie Basset). Development of a silicon-deposited catalyst of asymmetric epoxidation.
